Because money habits
start earlier than we think.
KidFUNd$ was created to help families teach healthy, confident money habits — without pressure, subscriptions, ads, or real money at risk.
We’ve all seen the problem
Kids grow up surrounded by spending — apps, one-click purchases, ads everywhere — but rarely get a safe place to actually practice money decisions.
By the time real money shows up, the habits are already formed.
We wanted something different
KidFUNd$ isn’t a bank. It doesn’t process payments. It doesn’t store card numbers. There’s no “buy now” button for kids.
Instead, it focuses on thinking about money: saving over time, choosing priorities, understanding trade-offs, and building generosity as a habit — not a lecture.
Why always free?
Financial literacy shouldn’t depend on a subscription.
We believe families should be able to teach money skills without worrying about paywalls, upsells, or hidden incentives. That’s why KidFUNd$ is — and will remain — free to use.
Our principles
Parents stay in control
Adults set rules, approve changes, and guide decisions. Kids learn — parents lead.
No real money risk
All balances are virtual. Learning happens without financial consequences.
No ads for kids
Kids aren’t marketed to. Ever. Any sustainability features are parent-only.
Learning beats lecturing
Kids learn best by doing — seeing money grow, shrink, and change over time.
This is bigger than an app
KidFUNd$ exists to help raise a generation that understands money — not as something scary or confusing, but as a tool they know how to use.
Always free. Always virtual. Always family-first.
